Dalam Unix Platform, Solaris, Linux, dan Mac OS. kadang kita ada masalah dengan trouble shoot dan instal maupun running java via remote dalam sebuah corporate, dan request open port 177 untuk membuka tampilan xwindows agar dapat menjalankan Java terkadang susah untuk mendapatkan, namun dengan open port 22/ssh maka running java bisa dilakukan tanpa susah susah open port 177, bagaimana caranya ? anda harus mengaktifkan xmanager passive terlebih dahulu dan berlicense
